BT Sport loses NBA and UFC rights

Bt has reportedly lost the rights to broadcast nba basketball and ufc after taking walks away from the bidding contest.

“we gained’t bid any more than the rights are worth to us,” a spokesperson for bt t informed the bbc.

The move comes simply weeks after bt misplaced the rights to italian serie a soccer.


The firm spends round £1bn a yr on sports rights, including optimal league and champions league soccer, a sum which a few buyers have criticised.

Bt’s sports channels will keep to reveal nba insurance till the give up of october and ufc till december third.
